Advice to young golfers: Golf is a game. Games should be fun!
For over 40 years I have had fun while working on perfecting my game. Today, I help others find the joy in golf that I have been fortunate to experience.
My students range from the high school student looking to improve her game for the golf team to the business professional who enjoys escaping to the course. Regardless of age or experience level, everyone discovers something they can learn or improve upon.
I keep active and continue to work on my own game as well as pick up new techniques to teach my students. I’ve played in the PGA Senior Tournament Q school and Monday qualifying in Hawaii and Minnesota. I hold a full certification with the US Golf Teaching Federation and am the official teaching professional at Bluff Creek Golf Course in Chanhassen, MN. I regularly organize tournaments for charity and profit.
Helping people discover the joy of golf one lesson at a time!

Gary Greenquist, Teaching Professional
· Assistant to Mike LaBauve and Sandy Lumpkin LaBauve (Top 20 Golf Instructors of America) – Stonecreek GC, Paradise Valley, AZ, and
University Ridge, Madison, WI – 1988 – ‘92
· Teaching Professional, Tiger Point G&CC, Gulf Breeze, FL – 1992 – ‘95
· Teaching Professional, Minikahda Club, Mpls, MN – 1995 – 2014
Through my association with Mike LaBauve I had access to their PGA and LPGA Tour players and great Teaching Professionals from the Golf Digest Schools and John Jacobs Schools, like Jim Flick, Paul Runyan, Chuck Cook, Jack Lumpkin, Shelby Futch and Don Crawley. I’ve taken lessons from many other top teachers (like the Harmon bros.), in order to pick their brains. I’ve studied all of the swing “methods” ever devised, but I’ve learned the most from my students. I have had job offers from top ten instructors in the country, but chose to return to Minnesota.
