Kevin Williams
Kevin Williams is a PGA Teaching Professional who has been in the golf industry for over 15 years. In that time he was the 1st Assistant Professional at Green Haven Golf Course in Anoka and the Head Golf Professional at Majestic Oaks in Ham Lake, MN. He currently also teaches for the Brad Pluth Golf Academy in Chanhassen, MN.
Kevin’s teaching philosophy is based on how the student learns, what the student’s goals are, and what the student can physically do. Kevin finds that there is no best swing in golf; there are just many variations that can be put in place to create success. His biggest priority as a golf instructor is to properly communicate the golf swing to the student so they can make the necessary changes to their game.
Kevin strongly believes that the fastest way to improvement is with the short game. Sound putting fundamentals along with properly fit equipment will eliminate poor setup and stroke fundamentals and allow the student to make a stroke that is conducive to their unique setup alignments.

Richard Jacobs
Richard started golfing in 1993 when his racquetball magazine listed golf as the game to play that wouldn’t ruin his racquetball swing. So he showed up at a golf course wearing gym clothes and carrying a $100 set of used golf clubs.
The starter joined him to an unwitting host of three veteran golfers. During the round they grimaced at many of his 130 shots but mostly, they complained about their own.
They seemed lost in a battle against a well-oiled army of enemy combatants named Slice, Hook, Thin, Fat, Worm-Burner, Short, Long, Blade, Chunk and Three-Putt against whom they’d acquired no known means of defense.
When Richard mentioned a sign he’d seen in the club house offering lessons one of them said, “Are you nuts? You don’t need lessons. I’ve never had a lesson and I’ve been playing golf my whole life!”
That did it! His passion for golf training was born. He signed up for lessons that day. Three weeks later he was shooting lower scores than his companions had posted during that first round. He learned for a fact that you absolutely can defend against that “well-oiled army” and can have a great time learning how.
With Richard as your golf instructor you’ll get better results, increase your love and appreciation for the game, and learn to get more out of your own natural abilities. You’ll see that golf is a game that can be learned, managed and enjoyed. To schedule a lesson with Richard, please call 952-261-9122 or email at rgolfguy@gmail.com.
